Sea waves move between large rocks, leaving delicate patterns of white foam across their surfaces. Water appears soft and ever-changing, while stone feels grounded and still — yet over time, each quietly reshapes the other. The idea for this painting began with a photograph Anna took during one of her adventures while travelling through different places and countries. Her attention was drawn to the meeting of two elements — a fleeting moment repeated endlessly, yet never appearing exactly the same. Where Water Meets Stone is a reflection on the strength of continuous movement, inner steadiness, and the changes that happen slowly, almost without being noticed.
