Delicate threads of a spider’s web stretch between weathered leaves, quietly connecting what might otherwise appear accidental. Muted greens, soft blush tones, and earthy neutrals transform this small fragment of nature into an almost abstract textural composition. The idea for this painting began with a photograph Anna took during one of her adventures while travelling through different places and countries. Her attention was drawn to a tiny world that could easily have gone unnoticed: imperfect leaves, slender stems, and a web gently holding them together. Threads of Stillness is a reflection on fragile connections, natural imperfection, and the beauty revealed when we choose to look more closely.
